This blue blob thing is Ikubee, mascot for the Aomori Destination Campaign in Japan. He looks amazing. More info from fuzzandfur.net:

Ikubee is ‘lets go’ in the dialect of Aomori and the name of The Aomori Destination Campaign’s mascot. The large blue fairy supposedly travelled all over Japan before finally settling down in his favorite prefecture. He’s modelled on the letter ‘A’ which of course stands for Aomori. He’s the colour blue because the first kanji in Aomori means blue and on his head is an apple blossom illustrating the flower symbol of the prefecture.

My first reaction to this video of Maru looking at himself in multiple mirrors was, “AAAHHAHAH HAHAH AAHRAHG CUUUTE UUGHGH M BRAIN SPLODE FROM THE CUTE AHHRAHRA LITTLE PAWS LOOKATEMGO.”

And then I wondered what was going on in his brain. I’m guessing…a lot of confusion.

Here’s a screencap of a really basic shooter I made. I called it Weep. The goal is to destroy anything that could dry your tears.

You can play it here (arrows to move, space bar to weep). 

My process for this: 

step 1: Find an old shooter tutorial online and cry on your keyboard trying to figure out AS2 for a while. 

step 2: Write a terrible song in garageband. Decide it needs a chiptune-type song and download every tracker and probably 90% of NES samples on the internet. Write another terrible song.

step 3: Play Skyrim.

Yesterday I found out some of my friends hadn’t seen this animated short by Pendleton Ward and Natasha Allegri—some of the great artists behind Adventure Time—about Pikachu farting. I was all, like, [mouth open, palms firmly planted on sides of face].

Anyway, everyone loves Pikachu farts.
