OP-1 is a portable synth by Swedish design studio Teenage Engineering. And it makes me want to puke with lust. (Is this how some people feel about shoes and bags?)

This is stupid on many levels, ignoring that the OP-1 costs $850 (which I don’t think is an unfair price, just…high). Mostly, I have a tendency to buy music-related equipment and rarely use them because playing music for fun is pretty low on my list of priorities. $850 would be much better spent towards a new computer or photography equipment, things I actually use every day.

But man, look at that thing. What a display. I know I’m blinded by its prettiness, but I don’t care.
